2016, August 22 – 1800 – yesterday, tomorrow, today

The man who only knows his yesterdays,
despite the wisdom he has learned,
is stuck in a simple maze
because he never turned.

The man with memories to throw away
has grand plans for many tomorrows,
but never enjoys the simple today
with all the time he borrows.

To live in the present
is to be alive,
in this moment
is all we have until we die.
